Ed Crotty Managing Director
Ed has over a decade of experience running homecare services in South Dublin. Prior to Emerald Homecare, Ed set up and then managed a well-known homecare business with offices in Dun Laoghaire and Dundrum.
Ed was a Board Member of Peamount Hospital 2009 – 2018, and is a former Director and past Chairman of Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI).
Gemma Godfrey – Nurse Care Manager
Gemma is a qualified Nurse; she has most recently worked as a Care Manager in the homecare sector, prior to which she has extensive health care experience including senior management in residential care services for older persons with intellectual disabilities.
Gemma’s role in Emerald Homecare is as Clinical Lead, this involves meeting clients and collaborating with their families, healthcare professionals and colleagues to create individualised care plans, as well as the management of the homecare service provided by our Carers and Supervisors.  .
Gemma is committed to enhancing the lives of older persons and  supporting their ability to remain in the comfort of their own homes.
Donna O’Brien – Quality Manager
Donna has worked in the homecare sector since 2016. She started work initially as a Carer, before being promoted to Supervisor and then Quality Manager. In her role as Quality Manager for emerald homecare, Donna carries out a range of duties including Client Quality visits, on the job training for Carers, Client introductions as well as managing all aspects of QQI training for our Carers.
Eliza O’Reilly – Recruitment Manager
Eliza manages all aspects of Carer recruitment and retention, including handling and screening initial applications for employment from prospective carers, interviewing, Carer onboarding and coordination of Carer training. She also oversees our Social Media content.
